ThinkHale Privacy Policy
A studio-wide privacy policy for ThinkHale software, websites, games, and applications.
Last updated: September 26, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how ThinkHale handles information across ThinkHale websites, software, mobile applications, games, and related services. Individual products may present additional in-product notices when a feature requires more specific disclosure.
Information we may collect
Depending on the product, ThinkHale may process account information such as an email address or login identifier, user-created content, saved settings, application state, device or app information, usage and diagnostic information, purchase or subscription status, and information you intentionally provide to a feature.
Some products are designed to work primarily with information stored locally on your device. Other products use hosted services so information can synchronize, persist across devices, support multiplayer or account features, or provide AI-assisted functionality.
User content and AI features
When you choose to use an AI-assisted feature, the content required to perform that feature may be transmitted to the applicable AI service provider. Depending on the ThinkHale product and feature, providers may include OpenAI or Anthropic. We aim to send only the information reasonably needed to provide the requested feature.
Do not submit information to an AI feature that you do not have permission to use or disclose. Provider processing and retention may also be governed by that provider’s own terms and privacy practices.
Audio, microphone, and transcription
Certain ThinkHale products, including Sideleaf, may request microphone access for live transcription or meeting assistance. Sideleaf is designed so ThinkHale does not save meeting audio recordings. Audio may still be transmitted to a transcription provider while the feature is active, and transcript text or user-selected meeting content may be stored or synchronized as part of the service.
Accounts, cloud storage, and infrastructure
Depending on the product, ThinkHale may use service providers such as Firebase or other Google services, Supabase, Vercel, authentication providers, hosting providers, database providers, and platform services from Apple or Google. These providers may process information on our behalf to operate authentication, hosting, synchronization, databases, notifications, multiplayer systems, or other application functions.
Payments and subscriptions
Some ThinkHale products may offer paid features or subscriptions. Payment processing may involve platform stores or providers such as Stripe and RevenueCat. ThinkHale does not need to receive full payment-card details when those transactions are handled by the payment provider. We may receive transaction identifiers, entitlement information, subscription status, or similar records needed to provide purchased features.
Product-specific notes
Aetheria Rising: may use Firebase services for authentication, game data, cloud functions, storage, social and world systems, and may use RevenueCat or platform billing for purchases. Optional AI-assisted chat translation may transmit chat text to an AI provider when that feature is enabled.
Sideleaf: may store notebook text, preparation content, annotations, web ink data, saved transcript text, revision history, usage information, authentication records, and subscription state. Live transcription can transmit microphone audio to a transcription provider while active, but Sideleaf is designed not to save meeting audio recordings.
Co-Pack: is a game/simulation product. Depending on the released version, game state, settings, progression, and related application information may be stored locally or through services disclosed in the product.
ScorchedEarth: may transmit the prompt or content you provide to Anthropic to generate a response. Subscription or purchase functionality may use RevenueCat or applicable mobile platform services.
LinkedIn: may transmit the text or image content you choose to process to Anthropic to generate or refine content. The native app is designed to keep its API key and queue information in local device storage unless a later product version clearly discloses otherwise.
How we use information
We use information to provide and maintain ThinkHale products, authenticate users, save or synchronize user content, operate game and application systems, process requested AI features, manage purchases or subscriptions, improve reliability, detect abuse or technical problems, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.
Sharing
ThinkHale does not sell personal information to advertisers. We may share information with service providers that help operate a product, when you direct us to share it, when required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, ThinkHale, or the security and integrity of our services.
Retention and deletion
Retention varies by product and by the type of information involved. Local information remains subject to the controls of your device and app. Hosted information may be retained while your account or service is active and for a reasonable period afterward for security, legal, backup, billing, or operational purposes. Where a product provides account deletion or export controls, you may use those controls directly.
Security
ThinkHale uses reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, and users should protect their own credentials and devices.
Children
ThinkHale products are not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If a product is specifically designed for a younger audience, it may provide additional disclosures or parental controls appropriate to that product.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as ThinkHale products evolve. The current version will be posted on ThinkHale.com with a revised effective date. Material product-specific changes may also be communicated inside the applicable product.
